KL saigal as Devdas |
Whether you take the Devdas of Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay or see the movies of K.L. Saigal, Dilip Kumar and Shahrukh khan, you will find the conclusion that it happened only because nobody given the value to their voice of heart. They heard to the society first, and when they realized that they are wrong, then they became the rebel. Devdas is a very amusing character of the movie, because the film is named after him, but rather than that the acting of the actors who played it, was amazing. Devdas was the son of a rich father, but as most of the movie show it, he was the hero so he was not so much concerned about the money. But still that money made some boundation around him, The money difference between his and Paro's family, made him to take the decision to stay away from her. But soon he realized that this is all fake, the money the society. His brother's wife was behind the jewelries, and his brother was behind the business. he found this whole society very selfish. When you fall in love you cannot stay selfish, and Devdas was also fell in love. So he decided to stay away from his family as well.

Diip Kumar as devdas |
Later he find Chunnilal as a friend, Chunnilaal was a very friendly man and all he knew was to enjoy the life that god provided him. He had all the bad habits. he used to go to prostitutes, and dancers and he was also alcoholic. But Devdas was not like that, still for staying away from the thoughts of Paro, he went into this gutter and never came back. He found Chandramukhi later, She used to appreciate him because of their first meeting. In the meeting, Devdas was not even watching Chandramukhi's dance, he was so much concerned about Paro. But when chandramukhi touched him he came to his sense. Then he gave his wallet to chandramukhi and went away from there.
When Devdas came Back Chandramukhi returned his wallet and said that she don't take money without working, she pretended that she is not a beggar. But later Devdas started drinking and continued to go to Chandramukhi. And then Paro comes again to put Devdas on the right track but she failed. And Devdas went so much Deeper in to his own grief, he started thinking that he was not for this world, he don't belong here. Because this world is not worthy for staying sane. He drink so that he can forget all the grief that he found from this world. And finally died in front of Paro's home.
This story has another part, we all have seen Devdas grief, but paro was also in deep grief, She was married to an old Thakur, he was rich but old, he already had two children, and Paro took care of both of them. On the other side there was Chndramukhi, she was thrown in the gutter of prostitution, In India, we still find lots of beggars boy and girls, Just think about their future, what will they be in future.
The reality is that you cannot tell how dark it is, if you've never seen the lights before.
